Time wrote words so magical,
my pen disappeared. Poof, it was gone. My empty hand beckoned me. I still had three wishes, a new pen was in order. Not just any ballpoint, I wanted my ink to come true, the words to be real. A need for life to steal my empty pages. I used my second wish on more paper, and an original idea. Something about a girl from Baton Rouge. She fishes off her back porch, and has a daughter named Tuesday. I used the last of my wishes on a happy ending. One we all like to dream about. You know, stars in the sky, American pie, and a bucket full of live crawdads. |
The key to happiness is not having any keys!
